Intunericul devenea din ce in ce mai patrunzator, intinzandu'se in jurul lor cu o forta invincibila. Puteai sa'l simti cum iti invadeaza intreaga fiinta, tinandu'si ultima respiratie. Era un ultim joc..o ultima infruntare..o ultima sansa la o viata buna. Si aveau sa lupte pana la ultima suflare.

Medalionul trebuia distrus. Iar o data distrus, incepea o alta poveste. Filele cartii erau rasfoite cu repeziciune; iar fiecare pagina data reprezenta inca un horcrux distrus. Deja reusisera sa duca la bun final o poveste. Inelul negru fusese nimicit in acea noapte cu luna noua din Padurea Interzisa. Acum trebuiau sa gaseasca acest medalion, inainte de ivirea zorilor.

Cu repeziciune, Bell spus in gand Alohomora! iar usile negre se deschisera. Dezvaluira insa in spatele lor o alta oroare, prea cunoscuta in istoria Hogsmead'ului.
"-Poarta Neagra!" anunta cercetasa, cu o voce sumbra.
"-Si cum trecem de ea?!" replica Rosalie, usor derutata.
"-Nu ai mai fost aici?" intreba Bell, cu o voce limpede.
