Eu incercasem sa schimb subiectul iar Bell se intoarse inapoi intreband despre numele devoratorului,m-am intors catre ea privind-o cu mirare.Nu stiam la ce ii va folosi aceasta informatie,si de ce intrebase.Nu imi venea sa cred dar am asteptat raspunsul lui Mark.

“-Nu stiu cum il chema.”spuse fantoma.
“Nu l-am mai intanit niciodata si nu am auzit nimica despre acesta.”
“-Eu stiu doar ca a intrat pur si simpul peste noi si ne-a atacat.”spuse Mark aplecandu-si fata suparat.
"-De ce intrebi?"spuse Melanie incruntandu-se.

Nu intelegeam de ce Bell era asa de curioasa sa stie despre devorator,putea sa fie mort sa nu mai existe sau sa fie in lume atacand o alta familie de vrajitori nevinovata chiar in acest moment.M-am cutremurat la acest gand.Nu as mai fi putut suporta o asemenea poveste trista.

“-Ce ai de gand Bell?”am soptit eu catre cercetasa.
