Doua fantome - doua tinere - se indreptau spre ele, plutind gratios. Mark zambi la vederea lor, iar Melanie le saluta usor din cap. Maya se cuminti brusc, tinandu'se cu manuta mica de roba transparenta a surorii sale mai mari. Bell si Tamara facura un schimb rapid de priviri si Mark chicoti.

"-Ele sunt Christina si Britanny" spuse el.
"-Incantate" raspunsera fantomele.
Pareau sa fie gemene; pentru ca semanau pana la cel mai mic detaliu.
"-Eu sunt Bell Evans" murmura cercetasa.
"-Te'am mai vazut pe coridoare" afirma una din ele.
Nu stia care - nu putea sa le deosebeasca.
"-Iar tu?" intreba a doua fantoma.
"-Tamara..de la astropufi" sopti Tamara, cu un mic zambet.

Fantomele zambira, si se apropiara de familia celor trei; Maya le privi cu coltul ochiului, putin speriata. Nu stia exact de ce, dar nou-sositele ii dadeau un sentiment de nesiguranta.
"-Ce faceti aici?" soptira ele.
