Am privit cu atentie fantoma. In lumina vaga a lunii abia puteam vedea acea silueta sidefie, transpusa la cativa metri de mine.
- Cum vrei sa-l faci sa regrete? am intrebat, curioasa. Avand in vedere ca esti imaterial si.. stii tu.
Am omis intentionat varianta cealalta, cea in care Lucas fusese ucis de o ea.
Fantoma isi ridica capul , apoi zambi. Un zambet distant, glacial. Nu raspunse.
- Nu te-ai gandit la asta? am zambit, la randul meu. Ce o sa faci cand il vei gasi pe cel care te-a ucis, o sa starnesti o furtuna si o sa arunci cu vaze dupa el?
Stiam ca eram prea dura cu Lucas, dar nu imi pasa. De cand devenise razbunarea o moda printre fantome?
Mi-am incrucisat picioarele si m-am facut mai comoda pe banca, asteptand raspunsul lui.

Se oprise o clipa, trecandu-si mana inca o data peste scrisul acela.
- Cred ca o sa am nevoie de ajutor, termina el.
