Am ramas in genunchi, ascultand cuvintele reverberand in aer cu o intensitate stranie. Sange.. moarte..
Niste persoane mi-au spus ca serpii sunt animale sacre si pot simti unele senzatii si amintiri pe care le emana un om. Mi s-a parut o prostie in acel moment si nu crezusem niciodata, dar.. parca ma simteam legata de sarpe, intr-un mod pe care nu il puteam explica. Si, uitandu-ma in intuneric la Elizabeth, puteam ghici cu usurinta ca si ea resimtea aceleasi lucruri ca si mine. - L-ai auzit si tu? am soptit, sperand ca fata sa ma auda.
