Am ascultat raspunsul hotarat, dar calm, al Cercetasei. Mi-am incrucisat din reflex bratele, incercand sa readuc cateva amintiri la suprafata. Sangele imi pulsa dureros in tample pe masura ce imi aminteam faptele in care credeau Devoratorii Mortii.. ca cei care auzeau vorbele serpilor erau damnati.
Inspirand adanc, am intrebat-o pe Elizabeth:
- Si e prima oara cand auzi.. un sarpe?
Mi-era greu sa pronunt cuvintele, avand in vedere ca insemnatatea lor era atat de stranie.
