Rosalie isi daduse seama ca mai trecuseera o proba. Voia sa renunte, ar fi in stare, dar stia ca nu poate sa faca asa ceva. Asta ar distruge-o. Poate nu acum, poate nu maine, dar mai tarziu cu siguranta isi va da seama ca a facut gresit. De aceea trebuia sa fie puternica. Inca putin si inca putin ... Cine stie cat va dura toata chestiunea asta? De fapt: adevarul era ca stia,dar voia sa refuze adevarul. Pana in zori vor cotninua sa treaca prin tot felul de probe pentru a-si putea pastra puterile de Medium. Oare ce va mai urma acum? Ce impedimente le vor aparea in cale.

Eveline voia sa spuna ceva,insa fosta Soimeanca isi continua discursul scurt:
"Acum imi vine sa las totul balta ..."
