Observa privirea plina de subinteles pe care i-o arunca Jennifer; si aproape ca vedea un ranjet ivindu-se pe buzele lui Eveline. Se simti datoare se le ofere niste explicatii.
- Nu va faceti griji, le zambi ea. De data asta sigur nu o sa va otraviti cu ele.
De la petrecerea Cercetasilor, si-a pus in gand sa cumpere mereu pachete Marlboro ca sa aiba la discretie pentru alte dati ; nu ii placea gustul tigarilor Transfigurate si nici gandul ca ar putea sa se otraveasca din clipa in clipa cu ele.
Isi aprinse tigara cu varful baghetei si o prinse intre buze. Sorbi cu lacomie fumul in piept, dupa care ofta adanc. Vazu ca Elizabeth nu luase nicio tigara , asa ca ii intinse pachetul.
- Nu vrei si tu?
