Tora asculta atenta ce spunea Bell si isi nota din cand in cand cateva cuvinte cheie. Niciodata nu trebuise sa se straduiasca prea mult sa invete, lectia intiparindu-se in mintea ei chiar din clasa.
Intelesese cum functionavraja si vroia sa incerce. Incepu sa se foiasca in banca. Nu mai avea rabdare. Cateva maini se ridicara. Asculta atenta intrebarile colegelor ei. Adevarul era ca si ea avea cam aceleasi intrebari in minte. Chiar daca nu aveau sens, curiozitatea o omora. Astepta rabdatoare raspunsul profesoarei in timp ce se juca cu pana. Robert Louis Stevenson once wrote: You cannot run away from a weakness; you must sometimes fight it out or perish.
