Dupa ce Tora se mai inveseli putin o auzi pe Ema Strigand dupa cineva. In mai putin de doua secunde aceasta era in picioare alergand. Zari o silueta indepartandus-e rapid in padure. Se ridica repede si o lua pe urmele Emei. O ajunse rapid din urma, insa isi consumase o parte de energie. Cele doua gafaiau, incercand sa-l ajunga pe barbat.
"Stai!" strigara acestea aproape simultan.
Erau aproape. Nu indeajuns, insa aproape. Barbatul se opri si se intoarse spre ele. Trupul ii era acoperit de o roba lunga. O gluga ii ascundea chipul. isi scoase bagheta. Fetele se oprirz la zece metri de el.
"Deci vrea o confruntare..." isi spuse Tora in gand.
O privi pe Ema. Amandoua credeau acelasi lucru. Isi scoasera baghetele simultan si se pregatira de duel.
