In asteptarea rasunsului colegei sale, Ainsley se tranti pe unul dintre fotolii. Isi amintise ca si data trecuta Camera Necesitatii fusese intesata cu obiecte ce-i apartinusera lui Desiree - in special, mai fusese o fotografie inramata acolo. Colega sa spunea ca nu avea idee de ce apareau asemenea lucruri, dar Ainsley stia ca Desiree avea o banuiala, cat de vaga.
- Nu stiu, spuse Desiree, cu parere de rau. Poate ca ma gandesc prea mult la asta. Probabil ca nu merita sa ma gandesc incontinuu la asta.
Colega sa ofta si se aseza langa Ainsley, pe fotoliu.
