He got closer…
“Your honour, I can explain everything…”
“How do we know, sir, that you’re not defending Miss Preddle?”

“I must ask you to calm down, sir, or I will have to ask the guards to arrest you…
Now, if you really are the one who killed mr. Halestone, can you tell us how you did it?”
“With poison, your honour…”
“How did you make the victim swallow it?”
“I put it in his food…”

“When he was in jail…”
“Impossible, your honour.” the prosecutor said.” The victim only ate food from the jail’s canteen… that could’ve been possible only if…”

“Exhume him ! “ said a man from the jury.
Alicia started staring at the ground without moving…

“I… agree, your honour.” said Alicia in a sigh.

“When will he be exhumed?”
