A trip to Hogsmeade

John was not really paying much attention to Valentino, even if his friend kept complaining about the team and the weather and other things as such. He was half listening to him, but mostly not hearing him. His mind was busy with other things. Problems of his own that he didn't like to share with other people. Actually, he didn't like to share them with anyone. His thoughts and feelings were always kept deep inside him, where no one could see them or laugh about them.

When Valentino suggested they should go grab some beers and kill some time, he just smiled and followed him. Truth to be told, he damn hated wizard beer. After tasting the beer Muggles drank, he kept thinking that the one from the Wizarding World was damn disgusting. Plus, he had very small chances of getting really drunk from it, which deeply disturbed him. But even so, he couldn't refuse a friend's invitation. Besides, staying there and just thinking about his fucked up like and his dreams that would probably never come true was not healthy.

While walking next to Valentino, John remembered how jealous he actually was on this boy. He seemed to have such a good life. He never had real problems, John had never saw him crying or being crushed or being depressed or being really, honestly worried and scared about something or someone. John wished he would have that in his life... That calm, that freedom, that happiness...

"You are truly lucky, man, you know? I sometimes wish so much I would be like you..." John confessed, with a sad smile, while they were walking down the road to Hogsmeade together. "Not giving a fuck about anything sounds awesome..."
