Perfect betrayal

A bolt of lightning shot through the sky and was followed quickly by a fierce clap of thunder. Katherine was not affected by the storm, but the little girl standing next to her mother at the counter of the gas station was. Her whole body had jumped when the deafening crash had echoed throughout the store, and she began to instantly wail. Paying for her gas quickly, the mother scooped up the child and fled the store for the safety of their car.

"I hate muggles. Why did Kennya wanted us to meet here? it's not her usualy place to be. Or maybe she... No. Can it be? Damn her and her stupid plan. And this weather..."

She sighted and leaned on the wall outside the gas station. Where the hell was she? It was almost the time to meet up and to be late was not in her friend character. She was wearing her school robes, and in that time and that place all the muggles who hurried home, looked at the girl quite scared and funny.
