Perfect betrayal

Kath sensed a warm hand on ther shoulder and jumped out of fear. she looked at the man in front of her who was pointing desperate to the inside shop. She looked in that direction and Kennya showed a sign of disbelief. The younger skytherin laughed and entered the shop.

Kennya was diverting her atention to the pile of scratch tickets that she had to put in the display case, she began to absentmindedly continue the work of the muggle who just left. Another flash of lighting and a ferocious boom of thunder caused the store lights to flicker just long enough to send every machine into a beeping frenzy.

“Fuck,” both girls said in unison and exhaled loudly through their nose as the older one rose from her spot and began fixing the small pop fridges and fountain machines with her wand. The vending machines outside had also suffered from the power loss, but she had no clue how to service them and Kennya didn't look amable enough to get outside in the cold and fix them. She’d have to make a couple of phone calls later, or wait until the next person came in for the night shift, and pray that he knew how to fix them. Wait a second...
