“Oh, sure,” Kennya nodded while Katherine laughed hard and the two of them.
“Thanks!” he bowed slightly again. “I thought if I waited in the bus shelter until the storm passed then I would be okay. But the wind is horrible! I could barely stand. I saw you were still open and made a run for it—” “It’s okay,” Kath said. This one was a talker. The girl wasn’t sure he would mind it because, after all, working alone was too quiet. And it was pretty funny to see Kennya and him clash like that. “I don’t live that far away,” the kid started again, “but I don’t think I could have run home.
