The storm continued to rage, and by the time their conversation lulled enough to realize, damn it all, Andrew had missed Spiderman and the dryer had buzzed long ago. As a peace offering, Katherine tossed a chocolate bar at him., which the petite blond happily caught.
"And you won't get in trouble for giving this to me?" the boy asked.
"No," Kath lied. If she didn't pay for it before the end of his shift then, yes, she would get in trouble. But Andrew didn't need to know that.

"So, when are you girl done tonight?" Andrew inquired around a mouthful of chocolate and caramel.
Katherine looked to the clock behind his head, "In fifteen minutes. If you want to wait around I could call a taxi to give you a ride home. You won't get wet again that way."
"Really?" the blond's face lit up. "Thanks! But where are you two going?"
"Home of course." Kath looked worried at Kennya. They both knew that the talk ws not going to be made alone.
