Roscata il privi atenta . Vroia sa afle ce ascundea viperinul . Brunetul ii raspunse rece , fara niciun alt detaliu . Agnes observa ceva iesind din perete , ceva , nu foarte vizibil . Ce dracu-o fi aia ? gandi ea pasind acum in retragere calcand pe piciorul viperinului ;

Oare era o fantoma sau cel putin era asemantor cu o fantoma . Isi innabusi un tipat punandu-si mana la gura . Simti mana lui Gabriel tragando pe a sa .. astfel fugind amandoi pe holul luminat slab doar de lumina lunii .
