  • Desiree simtea privirile fantomelor atintite asupra lor. Probabil erau curioase - nu puteai face prea mare lucru daca erai mort, dar barfitul ramanea printre posibilitati. Nu le va da ocazia ca sa vada cat de teama ii era. Un fior scurt ii strabatu pielea, mangaind-o.
    - Nu-ti fa griji, ele sunt moarte deja. Nu au cum sa-ti faca nimic rau.
    Sau, cel putin, asta spera Desiree. Isi intoarse privirea la tanara ce statea langa ea. O mai vazuse prin Turnul Cercetasilor , stia asta. Amintirea petrecerii de Craciun ii fulgera prin minte.
    - Nu cred ca ne-am prezentat inca, remarca ea.
