Lexie zambi cand Lucas vorbi, ascultandu-l cu un interes politicos. Ii placea faptul cabaiatul era deschis, o facea sa aiba parca mai mult incredere in el. Isi stranse genunchii la piept, sprijinindu-si usor barbia de ei si jucandu-se absenta cu bagheta. Parul roscat ii cazu de pe umeri, formand o perdea in partea stanga a fetei ei.

"Nu ma plictisesti. Imi place sa ascult," spuse ea, incercand sa il asigure ca nu o deranjase. Isi ridica privirea, uitandu-se in gol. Nu prea stia ce sa mai spuna. Avea multe curiozitati in legatura cu Lucas, si totusi, nu vroia sa il preseze, sau sa il faca sa spuna ceva ce nu voia. Sincerca sa fie, nici nu ii pasa foarte mult daca o ura sau nu ci mai mult sa stie ca ii era ea prietena, ceea ce nu simtise de foarte mult timp.

Era o chestie cu ea. Depindea foarte mult de momentul in care o persoana o prindea. Iar in acel moment era vulnerabila. Nu atat fizic, cat psihic. Se simtea putin doborata, ca si cum fusese clatinata de un vant puternic, iar intr-un sfarsit se dezechilibrase si aproape cazuse.
"Ti-ai facut prieteni pe aici? Vreau sa spun, daca te-ai integrat," intreba Lexie, zambind obosit.
