Gafaind usor, am inchis us in urma mea. Uitandu-ma furioasa la podea, am ridicat privirea. Uitasem cu totul notiunea timpului dupa evenimentul de acum un minut. Am privit-o rugator pe doamna profesoara si am spus pe o voce ragusita:
- Buna ziua! Imi cer scuze ca am intarziat. Holul dinspre turnul Ochilor-de-Soim a fost blocat de o inundatie...
Am aratat inutil spre apa ce picura de pe parul si roba mea.
- In regula! incuvinta profesoara cu un zambet cald. Poti sa treci in banca!
I-am multumit grabita si m-am asezat. In cateva secunde mi-am scos tot ce aveam nevoie si m-am linistit, asteptand inceputul lectiei.
