The title for J.K. Rowling’s new book has been unveiled.



It is called: The Casual Vacancy.

A synopsis of the book from Little, Brown follows:


When Barry Fairweather dies unexpectedly in his early forties, the little town of Pagford is left in shock.

Pagford is, seemingly, an English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what lies behind the pretty façade is a town at war.

Rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, teachers at war with their pupils…Pagford is not what it first seems.

And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen. Who will triumph in an election fraught with passion, duplicity and unexpected revelations?

UPDATE: The book is approximately 480 pages.

A release date of September 27, 2012 was also set.

Da, nu mai e mult pana la lansare. Si eu o s-o citesc, pentru ca e scrisa de JK Rowling. Din synopsis nu prea iti dai seama ce fel o sa fie cartea, dar e mai bine asa.
Eu am auzit ca JK planuieste in continuare Enciclopedia Harry Potter, dar a zis ca nu se grabeste pentru ca vrea sa o faca perfecta. O sa fie foarte groasa (ce bine !) si o sa contina absolut tot.

Nu zic decat: Take your time, Joanne !

A dat un interviu acum o luna doua in care a zis ca 100% nu mai face absolut nici o enciclopedie desi cu cateva zile inainte lansase un mic zvon. Va lansa pe Pottermore tot ce mai are scris...
