John didn't went to sleep anymore. It was 8 AM by the time he returned home. He just took a bath, a proper one this time, changed himself in some warm and comfy cloths and went downstairs. He didn't saw Claire there so he imediatly assumed that she was asleep. His parents were in the living-room, and he decided not to be moody or mean or cause a scene. He went to them and greeted them nicely, telling them Marry Christmas. He gave his mother a hug and even his father hugged him. For, maybe, the first time in his life.
"I can not believe you haven't complained at all since you got here, John. That is amazing. Did something happened to you?" his father asked, after he gave him his present. "Nothing happened.
