- Lexie se uita la Carsten putin surprinsa. Nu se asteptase la o astfel de oferta. Ridica din sprancene, spunand, putin balbait:
"Ei bine, nu stiu. Adica, am trait toata viata mea de pana acum cu un singur scop, iar acum imi dau seama ca am si alta varianta. E putin cam derutant, stii?" spuse, revenindu-si. "Ma voi gandi la oferta ta."
Si chiar o va face. Era intriganta oferta lui si se va gandi serios la ea.
Ii zambi, dandu-si seama ca atmosfera se schimbase dintr-una relaxanta intr-una putin mai tensionata, ca si cum ar face afaceri. Se gandi putin la ce ar putea spune, insa renunta dupa putin timp. Cand era in jurul lui Carsten, sau al orcarui prieten apropiat, nu trebuia sa incearca sa faca o coversatie ca sa fie o atmosfera placuta.
"Ei bine, tu de ce ai ales partea intunecata? Data trecuta cand ne-am intalnit oscilai intre cele doua," intreba, privindu-l.
