Hear the silence


When I looked at you,
You turned your back
And walked away.

When I talked to you,
You covered up your ears
And made yourself gone.

How can’t you hear me?
I’m standing in front of you,
Screaming and yelling your name.

I tried to turn my nothingness into
Love, but it was harder

I tried to make myself feel
