"There she is, she finally woke up! Told you she was not sick, aunt Sarah!" John said, while everyone started laughing. He took a box from under the big Christmas tree, that was wrapped in silver and green paper and he hand it over to Claire. "That is for you. Is from me." he said and hugged her. "Do not open it here, do it when you're alone..." he whispered in her ear, very softly.

"Merry Christmas!" he said, when he left go of her, giving her a soft kiss on the cheek.

They had waited for her in order to open gifts, and soon there was wrapping paper and empty boxes everywhere. Her gift from John, that she had already took in her room, was the only one that remained unrevailed. Until that night, when she told everyone she is going to sleep. She sat on the bed and took the gift in her lap, undoing the wrapping fast. It was a small Muggle gadget inside, a cellphone... And next to it, a short letter that said:

Claire,
Stop being so stupid. Gideon likes you and you like him, there is nothing bad about that. He told me that he wants to call you but that you don't have a cellphone. I know your parents would be disappointed and annoyed if they saw you buttoning a Muggle gadget, that is why no one knows I bought it for you. I already installed it and all, and you have Gideon's number in the memory. Call him, girl... Take some chances, take some risks. And if he makes you happy, then be happy with him. After all, is all that matters.

She read it with tears in her eyes. She took the phone from the box and started looking through it. There were still some stuff she didn't understood about this objects, but she was sure he was going to teach her all that she needed to know. With this, she was not going to fully lose Gideon. And if she tried hard enough, she could have even find a way to live a love story while still fulfilling her dream of becoming a Death Eater. She was happy... So truly happy.

"Thank you, John... I love you too." She said, before letting the tears finally fall down her cheeks, and knowing they were the first happy tears she had ever cried in her life.
